AiSecam Privacy Policy

AiSecam is a free, browser-based security camera web app. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use it. We believe privacy should be simple and transparent.

Your camera and recordings stay on your device

Live video, person-detection overlays, recorded clips, and captured photos are processed and stored locally in your browser (IndexedDB and local storage). AiSecam does not upload your camera feed, clips, or photos to AiSecam servers. Your camera data never leaves the device you use to access the Service.

No account required

We do not ask you to create an account, provide an email address, or sign in to use the camera features. You can start using AiSecam immediately after granting camera permission.

What we collect

AiSecam collects no personal information from you. Specifically, we do not collect:

Data stored on your device

When you use AiSecam, the following data is stored locally in your browser:

All of this data can be deleted at any time using Settings → Clear all browser data inside the camera view, or through your browser's site data settings.

Deleting your data

You can remove all app data stored in your browser at any time using Settings → Clear all browser data inside the camera view. You can also clear site data through your browser settings. Once deleted, this data cannot be recovered.

Advertising

AiSecam may display advertisements served by Google AdSense to keep the app free. Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.

Advertisements are not shown inside the camera view. They appear only on the landing page between content sections.

Cookie usage

AiSecam uses minimal cookies. The only cookies set by AiSecam itself are:

Third-party cookies may be set by Google AdSense for advertising purposes. These cookies are governed by Google's privacy policy.

Data retention

Since all camera data is stored locally on your device, there is no server-side data retention policy. Clips, photos, and settings remain in your browser until you delete them. Standard hosting access logs (see below) are retained by our hosting provider according to their standard retention periods.

Website hosting logs

Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) may process standard, anonymous technical logs when you load the app — such as IP address, user agent, and request timestamps. These logs are for operating the site, not for storing your video. They are retained according to Cloudflare's standard log retention policies.

Third-party services

The landing page may load fonts from Google Fonts and display ads from Google AdSense. Your browser requests those assets directly from Google when you visit the landing page. The camera view itself does not require external services. Optional Telegram notifications are governed by Telegram's privacy policy.

Children

AiSecam is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our hosting logs, please contact us.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your data:

International data transfers

Since AiSecam does not collect or transmit your camera data, no international data transfers occur through our Service. Standard web requests to load the landing page are handled by Cloudflare's global network.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Changes take effect when posted on this page. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when changes were last made. Continued use of AiSecam after changes means you accept the updated policy.
